Nate Dogg and Lil Nate Dogg’s “Get Away” song hits major milestone charting #1 on Nielsen Soundscan

Posthumously 7 years after his passing, It is considered extremely rare and is considered a milestone that a song charts #1 in the hip hop genre. Lil Nate Dogg’s “Son Of A G” album released 3 weeks ago features a #1 hit song “Get Away” as reported by Nielsen Soundscan ratings. It features his son known as Lil Nate Dogg (Nathaniel Dwayne Hale Jr) singing to his late father, and features a stellar, trademark chorus from Nate Dogg himself.  The hit song beat Drake, Bruno Mars, Migos and many others to hit the peak position.
